Project Overview

For this project, Reyez Construction expanded the light rail transit line by 3.2 miles along 19th Avenue. The project included coordinating major utility relocations, widening the roadway to accommodate the 40-foot-wide track alignment and self-performing the track concrete to support the new double tracks. The team also installed the tracks and crossovers, constructed three new train stations with passenger platforms, built a Park-and-Ride lot, constructed three traction power substations, installed new intersection signals, and built the concrete foundations for the overhead catenary system that feeds electricity to the trains.
