Luis Reyez Jr.

CEO

Luis Reyez Jr. is the Chief Executive Officer of Reyez Construction. His passion for construction began during his formative years watching his late father, Luis Reyez Sr., build Reyez Construction from scratch, taking a keen interest in his father's work. While attending Don Bosco Technical Institute (the “Tech”) he completed a 5-year program comprised of a rigorous college-prep curriculum that uniquely integrated academics and technology. Luis graduated from the Tech in 1992 with an Associates of Science in Building Technology.

In its early years, Reyez Construction primarily operated as a subcontractor building flood control and sewer structures for general contractors. Luis fondly recalls his father's very first subcontract with Chadwick & Buchanan, Inc. As the scope of Reyez’ work and expertise diversified, Luis began to work under his father, helping to expand their geographic reach and their project versatility. The first of the opportunities Mr. Reyez encountered occurred in 1993 when Reyez Construction worked as a joint venture partner with Sunland Asphalt and Construction to provide emergency repair work in response to the storms and flooding early that year. In 1996, Reyez began building projects for the Arizona Government and other public works agencies such as the Arizona Department of Transportation and City of Phoenix.

Under Luis’s guidance, Reyez Construction has continued to grow in the private and public work markets and is now widely regarded as one of the best heavy civil general contractors in Central/Southern Arizona. Luis continues to serve as an advisor to the business and can often be found at a Reyez jobsite supporting and encouraging the employees of Reyez Construction.
