Project Overview

This challenging Construction Manager at Risk project performed for two Phoenix suburbs involved major roadway construction in a high-traffic area. Reyez Construction widened 67th Avenue at three major intersections in the cities of Glendale and Peoria and installed nearly 12,000 linear feet of storm drainpipe down the center of the busy roadway. Crews also installed new street lighting, median islands, storm drains, traffic signals, signage, landscaping and sidewalks. Reyez also converted the open trench irrigation to underground pipe, placed the overhead electric power underground, upgraded street lighting and replaced aging water lines.
